A good 15 minute 2nd half spell fails to convert to victory and erase the bad feeling amongst Town fans after last weeks debacle at Tamworth.

Matt’s ratings

Players are rated on a scale of 1-10 with 6 being used as an average to passable performance. TRIGGER WARNING! half marks will also be used if a player is between scores.

A decent 15 minute spell fails to cover o
Tamworth shambles

Jacob Chapman -6- Largely redundant and a 59% passing accuracy is a little lower than his usual standards.

Matty Pearson -5- Only winning around half of his defensive duals this week and was caught flat footed in the build-up to the firs Crawley goal.

Tom Lees -5- Won most of his battles but he should really be filling in for Pearson on the first goal once the ball goes wide. He doesn’t, Brodie loses his head and Hepburn-Murphy has an easy path to goal. Maybe, I’m harsh but I would like an experienced defender to see that danger and step in.

Nigel Lonwijk -5- Decent with the ball at his feet, but defensively helped play Anderson on for the Crawley equaliser by dropping too deep and had a few lacks moments.

Brodie Spencer -6.5- An inexperienced error on the first goal but made up for that with a superb chested assist for Herbie Kane’s second equaliser. Added energy but not enough quality at times.

Herbie Kane -7- MAN OF THE MATCH - Tried to progress Town up the pitch with the ball and scored a nice equaliser with his weaker foot.

David Kasumu -6.5- Busy enough, but who was supposed to pick up Anderson?

Ben Wiles -7- Nice corner for the Healey equaliser to make it 8 goal contributions this season. Nice and tidy throughout.

Mickel Miller -6- Always energetic but a few lapses in defence leading to the Crawley second and only completed 13% of his crosses from good positions. One cross did lead to Town’s 2nd equaliser though.

Callum Marshall -4- Just not his day.

Bojan Radulovic -4- That’s two games in a row where you have to question whether he wants to be out there.

Rhys Healey -6.5- Scored the goal to get Town back into the game with a well timed run and header.

Josh Koroma -5- Lively and good to have him back but I can’t look past those 2 headers when it comes to a rating.

Tom Iorpenda-6- Battled away.

Michal Helik -NA- Great to see him back on the pitch.
