Last week I talked about planning out the rest of the season as far as Chip Strategy is concerned, and this cause has been made a lot easier now the bulk of the Fixture rearrangements have been made. There are now big Double Gameweeks in 33, 36 and 37…

Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton and Leicester have back to back Doubles in 36 and 37. Leicester Double in all 3 Gameweeks. Midfielders Maddison and Barnes are the two standouts from Sean Jarvis’s Leicester.

As far as the remaining Fixtures to rearrange, Man City and Wolves will Double in 36 or 37, depending on Fixtures outside the Premier League (European Fixtures and FA Cup). Aston Villa and Crystal Palace also have another Double to rearrange.

For the rest of the season, outside the Doubles, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs have good fixtures.

With all this in mind, let’s now look at GW32, a rare Single Gameweek for all teams. Man City play Liverpool on Sunday, a huge game in the race for the title, but a tricky Fixture for us FPL managers. Personally, I will play all my Man City and Liverpool players, but for once I don’t think Salah is the best Captaincy option.

Spurs have been in good Form recently, with Kane and Son being two of the Form players in the league. They travel to Aston Villa. Man Utd travel to Everton, so Fernandes could be a good differential punt for Captaincy. Everywhere else the Fixtures seem quite evenly balanced.

As far as Transfers go, I would be working towards making plans to work towards your Chip plans. With Gameweek 33 next up, you could roll the Transfer this week and use 2 Transfers next week as you go into a possible Chip Gameweek. You could bring one of those players in this week, but they may get injured or suspended before the Double in 33.

Deadline this week is Friday 8th April, 16:30pm.
