FPL GW12 Preview

A very quick turnaround sees Gameweek 12 arrive upon us.

This is the tricky Gameweek, which is why these articles over the last few weeks have been written with this in mind.

Man City v Arsenal is Postponed, so many of us could have up to 6 players missing, as well as injuries to James and Fofana and the Maddison suspension from other teams.

As I’ve mentioned, utilising the Free Hit Chip isn’t optimal, but if you have 7 or less players, you may feel it is worth it. The important thing to remember is this is only one Gameweek. Man City and Arsenal are first and second in the League, so selling their assets this week shouldn’t be on our minds, as we will want them back next Gameweek.

With the injuries to James and Fofana, they could be the players to sell in order to bring in playing Defenders this week. Brighton, Newcastle and Crystal Palace look the best teams to back this week. Dunk, Trippier and Guehi are the player from each team I’d recommend.

In Midfield, Maddison is suspended for one Gameweek, but Trossard, Mount and Zaha are the ones to consider. Up front, Kane and Wilson are the ones to be looking at.

Captaincy, it is a rejuvinated Salah who is the standout. Kane is a close second, with Trossard, Mitrovic and Wilson being outside picks.

Gameweek 12 Deadline is Tuesday 18th October 18:00.
