Matt’s ratings

Players are rated on a scale of 1-10 with 6 being used as an average to passable performance. TRIGGER WARNING! half marks will also be used if a player is between scores.

Lee Nicholls -8- MAN OF THE MATCH When they hit the bar, he saved that, it was an incredible stop!

Tom Lees -6.5- Steady away. A few errors in possession but it’s not his strong suit.

Michal Helik -6.5- Should have closed Marquis sooner when Nicholls bailed him and Lees out but solid overall as per usual.

Brodie Spencer -5- Another struggle in a position which is becoming clear doesn’t suit him.

Lasse Sorensen -6.5- Had some good moments early doors and my 6-year-old has decided that he’s his favourite player, so that’s a bonus point and bias over the season for him.

Jonathan Hogg -4- Cue the Jose Mourinho meme. If I speak… I am in trouble.

Antony Evans -5- A little flat in congested areas.

Ben Wiles -5.5- A step back from previous performances but let’s hope he steps forward again as he’s been magnificent for the most part this season.

Mickel Miller -7.5- Some very good raids down the left and a little better delivery than previous games.

Danny Ward -4- To be honest there were times when he didn’t look remotely interested. A man on the way out this window? He played like it at times.

Callum Marshall -7- Very well taken goal showing great composure. Still working his way into the side positionally but you can’t fault his enthusiasm and energy.

Matty Pearson -6.5- Agricultural but effective. The Matty Pearson way.

Rhys Healey -5- The movement was good, the finishing wasn’t.

Josh Koroma -7- Lifted the front line when he came on and played Healey in with a superb pass.

David Kasumu -6.5- Energy.

Tom Iorpenda -NA- On for 90 seconds but very much involved for that time. I’m a fan. Who’s the bigger fan, me or Dave Hartrick? There’s only one way to find out…
