Town fight back for a point at the seaside.

Joint ratings between Matt, Neil, Jerry, Poz and Joel

Players are rated on a scale of 1-10 with 6 being used as an average to passable performance. TRIGGER WARNING! half marks will also be used if a player is between scores. All 5 scores are divided to give the average score.

Jacob Chapman -4.6- Too easily beaten on his near post for the first goal, chipped when stood on his line and also partly culpable for the 2nd. Not the best of days.

Matty Pearson -5.5- Burned for pace too often in the first half but rescued Chapman with a goal line clearance and improved 2nd half.

Tom Lees -5.4- Should really have been given a 9 for that outright filthy Cruyff turn and cross in the first half. Weak efforts at closing down the first goal maybe coloured the scores.

Brodie Spencer -7- Similar to Lees with his part responsibility for the first goal but excelled down the left 2nd half and grabbed Town’s equaliser with a rip snorter via a deflection.

Ollie Turton -4.2- Struggled with the pace down his side first half and didn’t offer enough attacking support throughout. Joel’s done him with his mark though to bring it down that low. He’s a harsh man.

Joe Hodge -5- It just wasn’t the day for the Hodge and Kane combo. Overrun.

Herbie Kane -4.6- It just wasn’t the day for the Hodge and Kane combo. Overrun.

Ben Wiles -5.8- Absolutely infuriating to absolutely essential at times, although the formation tweak recently has taken a little away from his effectiveness.

Josh Koroma -4.3- Poz has rinsed the old conch charmer here, but Koroma despite creating 3 chances wasn’t involved enough throughout.

Joe Taylor -7.2- Outstanding touch to set up his shot for the first goal, that’s why you pay the big bucks! Looks like he’ll be a good investment.

Dion Charles -6.3- A waspish performance. Charles pressed well from the front but not much fell his way.

Jonathan Hogg-7.2- Helped turn the game back round using his experience and nouse.

Antony Evans -7.7- MAN OF THE MATCH Added the physicality and drive in midfield that was sorely lacking in the first half. Assisted Taylor for Town’s first and looked to make things tick in the middle.

Callum Marshall -5.7- Plenty running but few quality moments.

Radinio Balker -5.75- A few suicidal moments, but a fully fit Balker is an exciting prospect.

Rhys Healey-NA- The lesser spotted Rhys Healey! A lovely tonic to see the striker on the bench and looked very useful in his 11 minute cameo.
