FPL GW24 Preview

There are weeks in FPL where ‘do nothing’ is the best option. This is one of those weeks.

Last Gameweek was a Double, and next Gameweek is a Double for some and a Blank for others, so the best thing we can do this week is save our Transfer and go into next week in the best possible position .

Let’s remind ourselves of the state of play next week.

Double Gameweek 25

Arsenal: Leicester (A), Everton (H)

Everton: Aston Villa (H), Arsenal (A)

Liverpool: Crystal Palace (A), Wolves (H)

Wolves: Fulham (A), Liverpool (A)

Blank Gameweek 25

Brentford

Brighton

Man Utd

Newcastle

If you are thinking about being clever and bringing in Double Gameweek players this week in preparation, know that it is risky, as injuries and suspensions can happen.

If you are looking for a Transfer this week, Chelsea are Home to Southampton, and Forward Joao Felix is posting some good numbers but comes in at £7.5, a tricky price point, as he is way below Nketiah and Mitrovic. Fixtures are quite evenly balanced this week which makes Transfers hard to navigate.

As for Captaincy, it is a tricky week. Man City are Away to Notts Forest, who have been one of the form teams since the World Cup and Haaland and De Bruyne have been off Form of late. I’d still say Haaland is the best Captaincy option though. Elsewhere, Chelsea as mentioned, but with so many new Chelsea players it is hard to know who to trust, let alone Captain. Rashford Home to Leicester could be a great Differential, as he has the Form that Haaland does not have currently.
