AHTTC GAFFR LEAGUE UPDATE!

Nothing compares to the Championship. It’s a well known fact that ‘anyone can beat anyone’, but patterns and trends do emerge, and we can see that now in Gaffr, as a handful of players emerge that should perhaps be in all our teams for the long haul.

Fulham forward Aleksander Mitrovic (£11.5) has 20 goals and 5 assists in 17 games to hit 183 points, the most in the game. Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke (£11.5) and Blackburn’s Ben Brereton Diaz (£8.4) have 13 goals apiece, and 144 and 124 points to be the top three points scorers and top goalscorers in the Championship.

In Midfield, Reading’s John Swift (£7.4) hit 147 points, and with 8 goals and 7 assists his 15 attacking returns is second only to Mitrovic. Despite Readings injury list and off field issues, he is the Talisman and worth seriously considering.

In defence, only one player has broken the 100 points barrier; WBA’s Conor Townsend (£6.3) hit 107 points due to his strengths in both defence and attack. Bournemouth’s Jordan Zemura (£5.5) has been a great budget option and sits with 99 points, but an injury could rule him out for a spell over Christmas and New Year.

In goal, only 12 points separates the top 10, with three keepers costing under £5.0, so value can be had. WBA’s Sam Johnstone (£6.7) only has 4 more points than Middlesbrough’s Joe Lumley (£4.7) and is £2.0 more expensive!

My biggest weekly hauls have come when playing a Boost option, no doubt about it. So if you are looking to move up the rankings (and to be honest, who isn’t), use the Boosts. I’ve played Budget Busters and hit 134 points. Oosh!
