FPL GW23 Preview

FPL isn’t always easy, but we have been blessed with a (relatively) easy time of it over the next few weeks.

Arsenal are having an excellent season, both in Premier League and FPL terms, and we now know they will Double in both Gameweek 23 and 25.

Let’s look at what we know.

Double Gameweek 23

Arsenal: Brentford (H), Man City (H)

Man City: Aston Villa (H), Arsenal (A)

Double Gameweek 25

Arsenal: Leicester (A), Everton (H)

Everton: Aston Villa (H), Arsenal (A)

Liverpool: Crystal Palace (A), Wolves (H)

Wolves: Fulham (A), Liverpool (A)

Blank Gameweek 25

Brentford

Brighton

Man Utd

Newcastle

Triple Arsenal is now a must, with two Doubles and good Fixtures outside them. Ramsdale in goal, Gabriel and Saliba in Defence, Odegaard and Saka in Midfield and Nketiah up front are all great options. White and Martinelli are slight rotation and minutes risks with Tomiyasu and Trossard.

Man City Double this week but rotation is rife with Pep at the moment, especially in Defence. Only Haaland is nailed, but it wouldn’t surprise anyone of he was Benched. Mahrez is in favour but De Bruyne was Benched in the last game. However, De Bruyne isn’t someone who will be continually Benched, so I would be happy to play him. If you own City players, play them, but I’d think twice about bringing any in.

We’ll talk more about Gameweek 25 when we get there, but we can see that Brentford, Brighton, Man Utd and Newcastle all Blank. Many of us stocked up on Man Utd players last Gameweek, so we now need to move them on. Shaw and Rashford are players to keep if you can, but we all also own two or three Newcastle, so our Benches may be overflowing. It is something to consider, if you need space for more Arsenal players, players like Fernandes or Almiron could be the ones to go.

As for Captaincy, Haaland as he Doubles, but Saka or Nketiah could be great Differentials. There is no need to look outside these assets.
