FPL GW20 Preview

A very, very quick turnaround in FPL, as I write this over 6 hours before the last game of GW19.

So, what did we do in GW19? Free Hit? A Points Hit?

Whatever you did, it will of course have a knock on effect for GW20. Many FPL managers transferred OUT Mo Salah due to his Blank in GW19, his tough trip to Chelsea in GW21 then his involvement in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

For those of you that didn’t, Liverpool’s trip to Leicester on Tuesday is a prime pick for Captaincy, with an injury hit Leicester side who shipped 6 against Man City.

Man City’s trip to Brentford is the other standout, with City’s defence and attack all shining recently, but the dreaded Pep Rotation is, as ever, the issue. Phil Foden and Jack Grealish did not start after disciplinary action, neither did Jesus, so all 3 could come in to freshen the side.

Again, we will have to wait until the last minute to finalise our transfers in case of Covid Postponements (not literally the last minute of course, as the FPL site crashed at that point on Boxing Day).

So far, Arsenal v Wolves and Leeds v Aston Villa are postponed, but the Premier League can Postpone games just a couple hours before kick off.

If there are any more Postponements I will put it in the Tweet that this article will be posted in.

Deadline this week is Tuesday 28th December, 1:30m.
