AHTTC Gaffr League Update!

Eleven weeks into the Gaffr season and it has really shown what a rollercoaster ride the Championship is. None more so than Town, after the 5-1 defeat at the hands of our old nemesis Fulham we went three league games unbeaten.

Gaffr strategy differs hugely to FPL, with Fixtures and Form proving to be of little use. Coventry lost 5-0 to Luton on Wednesday then beat Fulham 4-1 on Saturday. That’s the nature of the Championship beast.

But with no Fixtures or Form to help guide our decisions, what can we use?

Well, Player Form seems to be the best metric.

Just Two players have broken through the 100 points barrier so far; Reading’s John Swift (£7.2 Midfield) and Coventry’s Viktor Gyokeres (£6.1 Forward). Reading sit in 10th place in the league, showing that Swift’s Form surpasses the team. Gyokeres netted twice against Fulham for a Coventry side that seem to be the surprise package so far, with the Swedish forward being a standout.

For Town, Sorba Thomas (£5.3 Forward) sits as the top points scorer with 65, 12 points ahead of Top Goalscorer Matty Pearson (£5.2 Defender).

As for the AHTTC League, it’s still, well, me who tops the League with 879. Strandsatt BK is just 7 points behind with 872. The Quaner Sutra, managed by one Matt Shaw, moves up to 6th with 839.

Don’t forget to use your Boosts - you can use 3 of the 6 available, but you need to use them by GW15, so use ‘em or lose ‘em!

GW12 Deadline is Friday 15th October 6:30pm so get your teams set, transfers made, Boosts Activated (where applicable) and strap in for another ride on the HMS Championship Rollercoaster!
